What is a workflow?
A workflow is a clear sequence of steps that one person (or one role) follows to complete a task. It explains what happens first, next, and last, often including decisions, approvals, and handoffs within that personâs work. Workflows are usually part of an SOP or a work instruction, because they describe how the task is done in practice.
